Suffering of the Zaddik/Righteous
Often in scripture the righteous suffer for the sins of others. Their turmoil and the character of faith in which they face the adversity, are examples to others. The infinite wisdom of Yahuweh, the jewels of opportunity that we are presented with for rewards in the kingdom to come, we shine and sparkle in faith of His power of deliverance no matter the circumstance. Though in this world our light seems only a spark or one candle power, by faith in our adversity, strengthening those around us, we are bright as the sun, blinding sin and turning others to repentance, as Messiah bore His cup and baptism into death, we share and bare it also, Yahushua as our example.
II Samuel 24:1 And again the anger of Yahuweh was kindled against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.
Yahuweh was not mad at David but Israel.
II Samuel 24:10 And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto Yahuweh, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O Yahuweh, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.
David did not try to lay blame, but made confession by faith to the one who could make things right. Yet God’s purpose was not yet fulfilled.
READ II SAMUEL 24:11-13; 14 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of Yahuweh; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man. (Proverbs 3:5)
Can you remember whose hand your in? even though you do not understand? Is your faith in what you see or in Who sees all things.
II Samuel 24:17 And David spake unto Yahuweh when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father’s house.  Prayer of intersession as Yahushua prayed for us.
Look at what the man who sold David the site of Solomon’s temple, name meant: Araunah = “I shall shout for joy” = “make ye to shine (2 Sam. 24:16)” = “joyful shouting of Yah (2 Sam. 24:18)”

Malachi 3:16-18 Then they that feared Yahuweh spake often one to another: and Yahuweh hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared Yahuweh, and that thought upon His name. 17And they shall be mine, saith Yahuweh of hosts, (JESUS) in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  18Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
Father give us strength in the days of adversity to shine as Your jewels in the furnace of afflictions, that others, even in our fall might be lifted up by Yahushua’s blood, our faith in His resurrection. Hal le lu YAH
